DOSHISHA UNIVERSITY, KYOTO
The Doshisha University in Kyoto is one of the most prestigious educational institutions in Japan. Since its foundation in 1875 it has been a center of Japanese science and higher schooling. It has 17 faculties and spread in two campuses in the old capital of Japan. Thanks to the Christian education of its founder Joseph Hardy Neeshima, it has a long tradition of international cooperation. The Center of Japanese Studies was able
to establish cooperation with Doshisha University in 2019 and secure a academic and student exchange agreement.
KUMAMOTO UNIVERSITY, KYUSHU
KOKUSHIKAN UNIVERSITY, TOKYO
Kokushika University located in Setagaya, Tokyo, is an important partner of the Center of Japanese Studies. It has been established in 1917 and jas a strong tradition of high moral values based in a spirit of “knowledge and action”. The cooperation of the two institutions was established in 2018 and his helping to create research opportunities for the members of the Center of Japanese Studies.
The University of West Bohemia also has a cooperation agreement with Kumamoto University in one of the most beautiful cities on the island of Kyushu. This institution, founded in 1949, offers a range of study programs in the humanities and engineering. It has four modern campuses and organizes many activities for its students. In addition, it has long-standing partnerships with universities worldwide, giving it a wealth of experience with exchange visits and international students.
