Workshop of Japanese Sword

The Center of Japanese Studies will host a workshop on Japanese sword history. The guest lecturer Jakub Zeman - a master Happo–ryu school ofo sword - will present the techniques of Japanese sword fighting, demonstrate tameshigiri, and provide the opportunity to practice with bokken. A small exhibition of Japanese swords will accompany the event. The event is open to all students of the Faculty of Arts, the University of West Bohemia, and the general public.
